Job Description:
Siemens Government Services (SGS) is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization. We are seeking a self-driven individual to complement our growing team.

Responsibilities include:
• Evaluate existing electronic countermeasures systems and recommend upgrades or enhancements to maximize effectiveness and functionality. Identify current needs, project future requirements and recommend strategies to ensure sufficient electronic countermeasures and continued operability of systems.
• Design practical and sustainable electronic countermeasures programs for assigned regions. Recommend strategies to mitigate system vulnerabilities.
• Research and maintain knowledge of current U.S. and host country laws, regulations and policies governing electronic countermeasures.
• Coordinate electronic countermeasures efforts with Department bureaus and offices, the Department of Defense, private contractors and other relevant agencies and organizations.
• Develop and conduct training for U.S. Government personnel and private contractors regarding the proper use, care, maintenance and preventative maintenance of assigned electronic countermeasure systems.
• Draft and/or review technical statements of work and proposals for installation, repair and maintenance of electronic countermeasures equipment. Provide quality assurance oversight of such work.

Requirements include:
• Five years technical and related experience in the field of coordination and technical support for modern electronic countermeasures systems; or
• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in electrical engineering or a related field and three years experience as described above; or
• At least one year of leadership experience planning convoys using vehicles equipped with counter electronic warfare (CREW) systems during combat operations.
• Expert understanding of the strengths, weakness, and limitations of CREW systems. Develop Techniques, Tactics and Procedures (TTP’s) for deploying vehicle equipped with CREW systems based on the national, local, and immerging Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) threat.
• Expert understanding on the construction, explosives used, and ignition systems used to detonate IED’s (Remote Controlled IED’s (RCIED), Victim Operated IED’s (VIED), Vehicle Born IEDS (VBIED))
• Ability to specify RF communication equipment that will work with CREW systems.
• Knowledge of radio frequency theory, principle and the effects of CREW systems operating in a high electromagnetic environment.
• Expert understanding of insurgent IED emplacement tactics.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electronic countermeasures systems used by the U.S. Department of State, including the CREW-2 (Duke) system.
• Up to 30% domestic and/or overseas travel may be required to possible high-threat locations.

Security Clearance: Must be US citizen and will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
