Design of electronic circuitry required for the control function in 3D motion equipment. Tasks include the design of embedded microprocessor controllers or digital logic to be used for motion control, temperature control, communications interfaces, motor drivers, position encoders, thermal device drivers, and A/D and D/A converter interfacing.   

Must be able to perform complete functional and timing analysis of random and sequential logic circuitry, and complete microprocessing bus timing and loading analysis.  Experience with Schematic capture is necessary. Experience with OrCad is important.   

Job Requirements 

• Digital design requirements include capabilities in the design of random and sequential logic circuits, utilizing PALS, programmable logic devices and TTL and CMOS logic.  
• Microprocessoring design requirements include experience with the design of embedded microprocessor controllers based on Microchip PIC32 processor.  
• Experience with Schematic capture is necessary.  
• Experience with OrCad a plus.
• Experience with C, C++, and Visual Basic programming is a plus
