Electronics Technician / Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - Federal Division

About the Job

What you will do
The job consists of performing duties required to plan, lay out, install and repair electrical and electronic production and building equipment.
Operations include working from drawings, codes, manuals, work orders. Analyzing electrical-electronic malfunctions, replacing and repairing defective parts, control modules, reassemble, test, check under operating conditions. 

Location: Grantley Plant in York, PA. All work will be at this location (no travel required)
Shift: First Shift (6:30am - 3:00pm), Monday - Friday. Overtime may be available.
Benefits: Eligible for benefits on first day of employment

How you will do it

1. Use precision measuring instruments for electrical and electronic instrumentation.
2. Balance loads, maintain distribution centers, transformer stations, electrical, electronic circuitry, overload protection. 
3. Bend, install conduit, pull, terminate and make harnesses, build control panels. 
4. Wiring units. 
5. Install and wire auxiliary controls.
6. Use
hand power tools, power bending equipment, ladders, scaffolding, appropriate material handling equipment.
7. Follows preventative maintenance schedule

What we look for

1. Must possess thorough knowledge of electrical and/or electronic theory, preferably with N/C machine operation, circuitry, and numeric system
2. Ability to use shop mathematics and handbook formulas
3. Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings or sketches
4. Ability to use all types of electrical measuring instruments
5. Ability to perform light physical work and climb ladders
6. U.S. citizen

1. Associates Degree or Technical/Vocational schooling with a focus in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field
2. State Journeyman Electrician papers
3. Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machines.
4. Experience working with control systems software
5. CNC programming and or general software programming experience
