Compunetix is looking for highly motivated Software Engineers to join our team and develop the Core and Application layers of our industry-leading conferencing platforms.  Duties include:

·         Design and implementation of features to audio and client services and call flow components

·         Refactoring critical portions of the current software to support future enhancements

·         Debugging issues found by our customer support team

·         Defining, planning and designing overall system architecture

·         Communicating technical details internally and with our customers

Required Experience:

·         BS,MS, PhD in EE/CE/CS or related discipline

·         At least 3 years experience developing object oriented code in C++ and C++ STL

·         Solid understanding of programming in various operating systems environments

·         Excellent debugging skills

·         Experience in overall system design and implementation

·         Tenacity and thoroughness in completing tasks

·         Desire to contribute to the development team thoughtfully and effectively

·         Demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities and troubleshooting skills

·         Superior communication skills

Preferred Experience:

·         Knowledge of telecommunications

·         Experience with commercial RTOS environments

·         Knowledge of TCP/IP and network programming

·         Experience developing/designing large, technically complex software systems

·         Strong scripting skills (e.g. perl, ruby)

·         Understanding of software engineering lifecycle

·         Use of ClearCase/ClearQuest version control and configuration management tools
