• Experience with Motorola 68k series Microprocessor primary 68333 and Coldfire Microprocessor
• Code Maintenance: sustain existing code to address bugs and add enhancements.
• Troubleshoot issues with current product motion control software/hardware.
• Analyze signals that are coming out of the chips they are working on.
• Develop code:  for mobile satellite antennas to include electronic and electro mechanical motion controllers, electronic subsystems and development tools.
• Develop New Platforms: help develop next generation motion control systems.
• Develop algorithms to assist in the motion control development.
• Conduct new product development taking existing software and adapt to create new products.
• Problem Solve: identify weaknesses in our current motion control system and propose solutions to increase performance levels of control. Identify tools needed to better characterize our products in order to develop better algorithms.
• Responsible for full life cycle software development.

Requirements

• 7 - 10 years experience programming in C/C++, experience with motion control devices, specifically servo systems.
• Bachelors of Science in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience programming micro processors.
• Extensive experience integrating hardware and software
• Strong understanding of digital electronics.
• Mathematical background in Geometry, Algorithms, and Spatial Kinetics.
• Strongly desired: SATCOM experience

Plus

• Experience working with Robotics.
• Radar communications experience.
• Experience with GPS system.
• Experience setting up and using Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer and other test equipment.
• Masters degree
