Our Client is an industry leader responsible for developing products and providing technical services related to; HDTV Video Surveillance Technology, Manufacturing of Megapixel IP Surveillance Cameras, Fiber Optic Communication Systems and various Components for Cable TV and Telecom markets.

The successful applicants will participate as key members of our engineering department developing embedded firmware for our HDTV Video Technology and Megapixel IP Cameras.  There are several positions available at various levels; from the engineer who is still getting started, possessing just a few years of technical experience, to the senior level proven engineer - where Management / Team Lead responsibilities will be part of the job duties.

The ideal applicants will have several years of Embedded Systems and / or Firmware Development with specific experience with the majority of the following skills;

·         Networking; TCP/IP Programming and Component Development

·         Multi-Process and Multithreaded Programming

·         Image compression – H.264, MPEG, JPEG, MJPEG

·         RTP, H.323, QoS parameters

·         Audio payload formats include: G.711, G.723, G.726, G.729, GSM, QCELP, MP3, DTMF, etc

·         Video payload formats include: H.261, H.263, H.264, MPEG-4, etc.

·         Low Level Embedded Systems Development with C/C++

·         Assembly, Python, JavaScript

·         RTP Control Protocol (RTCP)  RTSP/RTCP/RTP

·         SCTP, DCCP

The strongest candidates with have education (BSEE or BSCS minimum) and work experience that has given them detailed understanding of; Various IETF Standards -- End-to-End Real Time Transfer of Streamed Data --  Parallel Image Processing Technology --  Audio / Video Transports.
