Gonzales Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking professional Emergency Dispatchers to work in the public safety sector located in the Suitland, MD area, near Washington D.C. Candidates must possess two years or equivalent emergency 911 dispatch experience preferred. This position is full time with a full benefit package and all candidates must be flexible and able to work days, swing and graveyard shifts. This position requires a background clearance which includes both a criminal, credit as well as pre-employment physical and drug screen. Applicants will need to pass a skills assessment test. Must become APCO certified through the Association of Public Communications Officials Inc. (APCO) by completing a basic telecommunicator program.

·         Must demonstrate the ability to write clear, concise and timely reports, activity log entries and data queries.

·         Must consistently demonstrate good customer service techniques and skills.

·         Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to multi-task, maintain self-control and work effectively under stress.
