Excellent opportunity with Healthcare facility in Georgia for an Emergency Room Director.  This facility is a not-for-profit 376 bed community hospital that offers a full range of inpatient, outpatient and emergency room services.  There Emergency Department also includes a Cardiac Decision Unit to monitor patients who do not immediately test positive for a heart attack.

A qualified candidate for this position must be an RN with BSN preferred and Masters preferred.  They must have a minimum of 2 years staff charge experience as well as a minimum 5 years progressive management experience.  Must have a Georgia RN license.  Should have ACLS, PALS, TNCC and must have Trauma experience.  Candidate needs to have a 'can do' attitude, be able to access and implement change, have demonstrated results and be a team player.

Department has 60,000 visits/year and this position is responsible for 50 FTE's.  Reports to VP of Patient Care.  Top Priorities for this position include 1-Magnet preparation, 2-Additional OB services preparation - Hospital Expansion, 3-FLOW/Process Improvement and 4-EMR-Finalize the process.
