The Emergency Department Technician is a skilled individual who has successfully completed the Emergency Department's Course, which validates their areas of responsibilities and patient care duties. The individual is directed by the RN or Physician. Their role is assistive with Emergency Department Services.

Required Skills:
High School Diploma/GED equivalent required. Experience in an Emergency Department preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. A minimum of one year experience as a Nursing Attendant/Nurse Aide required. Successful completion of Emergency Department Technician course or completion of a Certified Medical Assistant Program.
