Emergency Services Coordinator
About the Job
Coordinates activities in the Escambia and Santa Rosa County jurisdiction to include Disaster Services, Services to Armed Forces (SAF), and International Services Programs; ensures that the these programs are appropriately integrated into overall Chapter activities and coordinated as needed with other Red Cross entities and community agencies.
Provides oversight to the base volunteer programs ensuring the office is staffed and coordinating with other groups on the installation to ensure Red Cross volunteers are included in recognitions, volunteer opportunities and awards. Attends command and tenant command briefings to provide information about American Red Cross programs and services. Serves as liaison and agency representative with Combined Federal Campaign for Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Ensures grant programs are implemented for services to armed forces on military bases. Coordinate meetings with Aide Societies, Active Duty, Reserve and National Guard Units to oversee deployment support and educate them on Red Cross programs and services. Provides staff support to Naval Hospital volunteer program. Oversees Disaster Service programs in Escambia and Santa Rosa County, including disaster response, community education, and disaster service delivery, ensuring compliance with American Red Cross Disaster Services Regulations and Indicators of Chapter Performance. Promotes Disaster Services programs through active collaboration with professional and voluntary emergency response agencies and organizations. Provides Supports all chapter fundraising events
