We currently have a position open for an Employee Benefits Health and Welfare Senior Consultant in our Salt Lake City, Utah office. The ideal candidate is a motivated insurance professional with 8 or more years of experience.            


 


Primary responsibilities include:


 




  • Relationship management of client.


  • Coordinate and manage the activities of marketing and renewals, recommending measures to improve satisfaction, performance and cost.


  • Recommend or initiate actions to effectively and proactively service the client.  Plan, direct and coordinate benefit and insurance programs.


  • Identify, plan and develop methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness of benefit programs.


  • Development of client specific management and financial programs.  Review financial and management reports monthly.


  • Develop sales with new prospects or cross-selling opportunities with current clients.


  • Manage financial profitability of account book.


  • Special projects as assigned which includes involvement in presentations, client functions and meetings.

 


Requirements:




  • Minimum of 8 years managing large Health and Welfare clients.  


  • Exceptional knowledge of all lines of benefits coverage.


  • Currently licensed in Life/Accident and Health Insurance.


  • Good oral and written communication skills. 


  • Ability to independently make accurate decisions and demonstrate good judgment.
