Employment Consultant

A challenging position in partnership with the Brain Injury Association of Vermont. Based in Waterbury, this position will be responsible for educating and supporting Vermont business across the state to train and hire individuals with Brain Injury, with a specific focus on serving the needs of returning veterans with Brain Injury and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This position will also be responsible for motivating and supporting individual jobseekers with brain injury, including job search, securing employment, and providing ongoing follow-up. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the business community, veteran's issues and traumatic brain injury, and will be able to maintain positive rapport with clients, employers and military. Requires a self starter with attention to detail and creative problem solving skills. Minimum qualifications include HS diploma, reliable transportation, good interpersonal and communication skills and computer knowledge. Salary begins at $25,000 plus benefits.
