End User Support Specialist/EDI Spec

Our client is the one of the largest privately held companies in Utah, and has been growing since its inception in the early 1970’s. Their products are sold and distributed to major retailers, worldwide.

 

Within their IT department, they are in need of an End User Support Specialist/ EDI Specialist.  This person is the first point of contact for employees calling the MIS Department.  This person provides end-user computer support, which includes diagnosis, documentation, and resolution of user’s technical software and application issues, 2 years relevant computer experience required.   

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide excellent customer service to end-users.
  • Must have 2 or more years experience in EDI Transaction Processing and/or Accounting.  Education in related field may be substituted for some experience.
  • Isolate and diagnose PC hardware and software problems using advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of end user issues.
  • Escalate/route tickets to other MIS staff for resolution.
  • Assist individual end-users with the use of corporate standard applications.
  • Track and report client support issues.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous tasks and issues.
  • Identify proactive processes to eliminate calls.
  • Work well in teams.

 

This position is located in Davis County.
