Energy Auditor

Do you want to get paid well to make a positive difference in the world? Greenspring Energy LLC is looking for an Energy Auditor in the Baltimore Maryland area. Once you have completed our training and been certified by nationally recognized organizations you will be ready to help defend our customers against ever increasing energy bills. We prefer a BS degree in a related field energy field or five years of related experience in energy efficiency and or conservation. 

Job Description:

The Energy Auditor will work in residences to obtain data used to simulate and test energy reduction strategies. Findings will be presented to customers with a focus on products and services Green Spring Energy can offer to reduce the customer's energy use while improving comfort and home value. This position requires travel up to 50% of the time, with occasional overnights.

Candidates should:

1.       Be able to work with complex computer programs that simulate and model energy consumption rates.

2.       Have great communication skills both written and verbal.

3.       Be able to work in varied and or difficult environments to obtain data.

4.       Have a high degree of proficiency working with Microsoft office.

5.       Have a clean driving record and be able to provide transportation.

6.       Have knowledge of basic construction terminology and methods.

7.       Be able to use scheduling software.

8.       Be able to use diagnostic equipment to obtain accurate data.

9.       Have good problem solving skills.

10.   Be able to work with sales team to demonstrate to customers how energy conservation and efficiently can be a benefit.

11.   Be able to convince customers to invest in energy reduction technologies.
