Description

Involved in many aspects of risk management advisory work, including: market risk, credit risk, operational risk, process design or improvement, energy trading risk management systems analysis or design, and regulatory advisory. Lead multiple service line engagement teams, establishes working relationships with key clients at the project management and project oversight levels, and is responsible for business development activities on strategic priority accounts. Deliver advisory services to Energy Industry clients through a number of market sub-segments across the globe - including Oil & Gas, Utilities, Chemicals, and Natural Resources. Develop and maintain quality, productive relationships with clients. Be responsible for business development and pursuits; engagement maintenance; engagement execution; and reporting.

Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math or a related field, and 5 years of experience in an investment or commercial bank, or professional services firm serving financial sector clients; or a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math or a related field, and 3 years of experience in an investment of commercial bank, or professional services firm serving financial sector clients.

Must have experience in one of the following: credit lifecycle within a commercial bank; credit risk management infrastructure; quantitative methods and tools supporting credit risk measurement; economic capital and risk-adjusted performance measurement; market risk management; financial product/derivatives valuation and operations; operational risk (Basel II requirements and industry practices); or, back-office/operations (e.g., securities or loan processing).

Must have experience in multiple energy industry market segments.

Must have experience in market, credit or operational risk management; or, energy trading risk management as well as capital markets operations.

Must have significant experience in project management and process analysis and design. The ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and technology. PC proficiency, including MS Office.

Successful candidates must also have the ability to travel approximately 20-30% of the time.
