Job Summary:
 
Energy Star Program Manager will be responsibly for developing, launching, and managing the new construction Energy Star Program throughout Texas. They will work with residential homebuilders to offer Direct Energy's Energy Star certifications services. Initial responsibilities include operations process, vendor relationships, and employee management. 
  
Essential Functions: 
  • Energy Star Program Management experience

  • Homebuilder vendor relationship

  • Extensive knowledge of building science and the Texas State building code.

  • Experience using diagnostic equipment; including blower door, duct blaster, airflow plates and thermal imaging (infrared) camera.




  • HERS QAD/Trainer certification

  • Energy Star Program Management

  • Employee Management

  • Residential Construction

  • Strong problem solving analytical skills

  • Must possess and maintain a valid Texas State driver's license

  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, listening)

  • Microsoft Office software

  • Ability to resolve issues

  • Must have a good driving record

  • No relocation available
