We currently have an Engagement Designer - Beauty opportunity in our Manhattan location.
The Engagement Designer's overall objective is to transform the consumer connection plan into experiences and platforms that engage and bring brand closer to consumer through engagement.
Responsibilities include: Collaborate with brands and agencies. Assist brands in deepening knowledge of all new and evolving media connection models and opportunities. Identify models and explore prospects to apply best practices of media channels for Beauty products. Share responsibility externally for flawless execution of deliverables. Build strong relationships with media/connection partners on sales and marketing division. Leverage information sources and data for Beauty products. Develop experiences that engage the consumer, can be clearly articulated, and have measurable results. Proactively analyze business and capitalize on industry/consumer trends, new technology, and promotional opportunities. Offer collective strategic direction for cross-connection teams and facilitate IDEA Integrated Communication approach. Manage and contribute to professional growth and development of teammates and facilitate shared learning for Beauty products. Ensure execution of best practices. Direct, motivate and inspire others. Control workflow, delegate tasks, offer direction and suggestions.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is required. A minimum of 5 years of Marketing, Media, and/or Communications experience is required. Ability to create connection and experience strategies across variety of disciplines is preferred. Must understand media/communications planning, CRM, direct marketing and integrated communications. Solid qualitative and quantitative analytical skills are preferred. Ability to create communication plans that deliver maximum value is required. Must be adept at balancing brands, agencies, and connection partners to increase number of connection points, to infuse customer and brand insights, and to optimize experience, design, engagement, and success measures. Must be well versed in all touch-points and able to identify required experts to oversee experiences for actionable initiatives. Experience working with research and developing differentiating insights and actions is preferred. Experience working with media companies sales and marketing department is required. Experience working with content creation, branded entertainment, and/or new video delivery models is preferred. Experience managing high level of detail in many disciplines is preferred. Must be a strong communicator, self-starter and strategic focused.
