Currently, the Amacai team is seeking a Data Quality Testing Engineer in our Orem, Utah office. This person will be charged with assessing the quality of potential new data sources as well as identifying/fixing systemic data problems within our current data repositories through a close relationship with engineering and product development.  This individual will be expected to become familiar with all of our products and understand the underlying data that feeds each product.  The chosen candidate must be able to run and understand statistical analysis of large datasets to assure consistency and predictability of products from month to month.  This individual will also participate in new product development initiatives from a data quality perspective. 

§         Vetting of potential new data sources through statistical analysis

§         Establish and run data testing procedures and incorporate them into all aspects of our product development; as such candidates should have the following:

o         Database experience - MySQL, Oracle

o         SQL experience

o         C++ experience

§         Ability to critically evaluate processes and envision and execute improvement to practices

§         Superior attention to detail and willingness to become an expert in understanding and evaluating the data used throughout the enterprise

§         Must exercise excellent organizational skills and have an ability to juggle multiple threads simultaneously

§         Ability to critically engage the internal team at all levels; ideal candidates should have the ability to foster collaboration, and the capability of acting independently as needed to enforce data quality standards

§         2-4 years of  relevant experience

§         Proven software development expertise

§         Past experience in the area of data testing a plus but not required

§         Ability to work closely with an engineering team
