Lead Software Development Engineer

Description:
The Software Project Engineer will be responsible leading all development aspects of a large, complex automation project. The project will deliver a single standard automation framework to be used by CVB test groups world-wide. This role will determine provide technical direction to a medium sized team. This position will ensure formal development practices are employed by the project, ensuring the automation infrastructure is sustainable and scalable.

This position will ensure the automation framework meets the current and future automation needs of the LNX test groups. This includes a complete understanding of these requirements and the ability to architect a solution to meet these requirements.

This position will work closely with the product development groups to ensure the needs of the automation project are incorporated into the software development activities. This includes providing automation interfaces in the products under test.

Position can be located in Cleveland, Milwaukee or Phoenix.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

BSEE, BSCS, or BSCE (MSEE, MSCS, or MSCE desirable).

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Seeking 10 years overall experience, 5 years in a lead role.

Prior experience in the architecture and development of large complex Windows, GUI based, software products/solutions.

Prior software development experience with C++

Prior software development experience with VisualBasic

Prior software development experience with .NET and Java

Prior experience as a technical development lead on one or more projects

Prior experience in all aspects of software testing is highly desirable.

Prior experience in test automation is highly desirable.

Prior experience in Industrial Control Industry is highly desirable.
