Engineer/Scientist (Positions 3696, 3697, and 3699) - Entry, Mid, and Senior Level Positions availiable - Positions available in Washington, D.C. and Columbia, MD - All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States Job Description The selected candidate will assist EERE clients with a variety of activities required to run an effective technology development program. Responsibilities may include: Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Candidates must possess excellent technical and analytical capabilities, strong communications and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to contribute effectively to simultaneous tasks. Candidates for senior positions must have proven abilities in managing programs, projects, and staff. Proficiency required in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Education/Experience: Entry and mid-level positions require a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in science, engineering, or related field; a Master's degree in those fields is preferable for senior positions. The entry-level positions require one (1) to four (4) years of relevant experience. Candidates for the mid-level and senior positions must have a minimum of five (5) and ten (10) years of relevant experience, respectively, preferably in energy or environmental consulting or technology development.
