JOB DESCRIPTION:

Intellon Corporation, a leader in Powerline Communications, has an immediate opening for a SENIOR PRODUCT VERIFICATION ENGINEER in our Ocala, Florida engineering operations.  This role is an essential part of the engineering organization that is responsible for all aspects of product quality assurance.  This is a full time, direct hire position for a seasoned engineering professional in the semiconductor industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and implements software test plans and automated test suites.


• Participates in software design for quality (DFQ) initiatives and contributes to continuous process improvement.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is required; Master degree is preferred.


• At least 4+ years of prior work experience and demonstrated success in Product Verification and SQA efforts within the semiconductor industry.  Start-up operation experience is desired.


• Prior experience with IP Data networking and protocols


• Strong background in C and C++, TCL, TK, and other test scripting tools.


• Strong work history in developing SQA automation process, test scripts and regression harness.


• Experience in conducting multiple project releases and testing projects simultaneously


• Hands-on experience in product test, debugging and issue resolution


• Strong skills using tools such as: Smartbits, IXIA, HP Advisor, Sniffer, Ethereal, Chariot and other related network test and analysis systems


• Proficient in MS Windows
