Belcan TechServices is currently searching for an experienced Engineering Manager for a client.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Supervisor in developing engineers, strong leadership skills, and strong improvement and process orientation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Manage the Product Development Process
• Manage Product Engineering
• Manage the Quality Assurance Function
• Drive Value Engineering Projects
• Support Manufacturing Cost Reduction initiatives
• Manage Corporate Quality Systems (ISO 9001:2000, DoD)
• Provide engineering support to sales
• Provide technical review for marketing collateral
• Develop standard procedures/processes

Skills and Qualifications Desired:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree (masters / PE preferred)
• Demonstrated experience as an engineering supervisor / manager
• Experience with the Stage-Gate process
• Experience with lean process/product development
• Strong manufacturing background
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• In depth knowledge of metallurgy, heat treating, machining, surface treatments
