ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN:
Minimum Task Requirements:
Candidate would become involved in all aspects of product development and support
including but not limited to the following:
. Test Fixture Construction with minimal engineering input
. Create Test Procedures with engineering support
. Support ISO9000 and AS9100 Quality System
. Provide Technical Support to Manufacturing Personnel
. Provide Field Support for new products and special applications
. Troubleshoot complex problems with minimal engineering support
. Provide technical training to personnel and customers
Candidate would work closely with Design Engineers, Production Leads, Technicians, and Assemblers to support the effort to improve quality of the products. Candidate would work with both legacy products as well as new product development including standard products and custom products.
Product circuit types include sensor signal conditioning, 4-20mA current loops (HIGHLY PREFERRED), A/D & D/A converters, microcontrollers, power supplies, display circuits, user interfaces, radio interfaces, network interfaces (CANBUS, RF, RS485, RS232), digital I/O, digital signal conditioning, quadrature signal decoding, strain gage signal amplifiers, and electronics for hazardous locations (non-incendive, intrinsic safe, etc).
Product types include strain gage based sensors, position sensors, sensors with direct network connectivity, display products, instrumentation, data acquisition, battery-powered RF networked sensors and user interfaces, signal conditioner products, weigh scales, and other products primarily related to physical measurement.
Work Experience required: Candidate must have a minimum of a Associate Degree in related Engineering field & 5+ years manufacturing experience. Strong experience in manufacturing, engineering, and field support HIGHLY desired.
