| Description | |
| Essential Duties & Job Functions: Assist with coordination aspects as directed by the CCI Task Order Managers. Assist in the preparation of independent cost estimates. Assist the Project Managers in developing project plans, including timelines, project phases, activities and tasks. Verify dimensions and descriptions. Generate construction and As-Built drawings. Assist in the compilation and submittal of material approval requests. Perform daily/weekly on-site customer interface. Visit project sites to document conditions and changes. Assist with contractor quality control and safety at construction locations. Assist and fill in for CCI Project Managers when they are not available. Assist Project Managers on walk-thru’s with contractors for bidding purposes. Communicate daily status of current projects to Project Manager to ensure all projects are timely and within CCI standards. Other Responsibilities: Assist in Quality Assurance of project deliverables and/or communication management such as: Status reporting, Submittal tracking, Issues management. Attend and participate in required meetings, training, exercises and drills. Perform other duties as assigned. | |

| Knowledge of construction i.e. prints, plans and technical writing. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Basic computer experience, including, Microsoft Office Suite, email, general reports. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely in a small office environment. Ability to access military installation. Drivers License with clear driving record. | |
| Special Requirements/Certifications | |
| Preferred: Enrollment in a construction management or engineering program. AutoCAD 2007. Previous experience in the construction industry Knowledge and experience with federal agencies, policies and procedures for construction contracts. | |
| Physical Requirements | |
Physical and technical requirements that meet the standards of CCI. Lifting up to 70lbs, pushing/pulling up to 100lbs, carrying up to 50lbs, shoveling up to 20lbs, frequent walking and standing, occasional keyboard use, sitting, bending, twisting and reaching. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
