Engineering Technician for Internal Combustion Engines- Diesel
As an internationally known diesel engine manufacturer, our client continually seeks out the best established and up-and-coming talent in the industry. Currently we are seeking an experienced Diesel Engine Engineering Technician due to recent expansion. In this position, you will utilize your background in hands-on engineering to work on automotive mechanical and electric systems. Be prepared to grow and learn as you assist our team of successful engineers with prototype engine building and evaluation for our existing and new US customers. This position is based in our expansive, modern, US headquarters northwest of Atlanta.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of engine work experience
• Associate or technical degree in a directly related field
• Strong computer knowledge required; familiarity with CAD (3D & 2D) highly preferred
• Knowledge of engine testing methods and data gathering, specifically dynamometer (dyno) skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to read complex instructions to work with ECUs
• Maintain company standards, safety compliance, and department goals to support productivity objectives
