Provides operational support for College registration operations. -
Advises students of academic and administrative requirements; assists with registration -
Interprets and communicates academic policies and procedures; provides information to prospective and enrolled students in registration and records-related areas -
Compiles, generates and updates reports and surveys containing enrollment data -
Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) -
Collaborates with other College and University offices to assist with resolutions of student registration and record problems -
May participate in activities related to course scheduling and maintaining the Master Course File -
May monitor and revise the content of the Registrar¿s Office web pages and other communication materials -

Responsible for providing basic guidance, information, and support to veteran students regarding veteran's benefits, financial aid and a full range of college services available to Baruch College veteran students -
Certify enrollments for the GI Bill benefits for degree students and continuing studies students as well as veterans in the vocational rehabilitation program -
Work closely with BCTC and the Office of Student Life to maintain an informative and updated veteran's website -
Participate in the Veteran's Services Coordinating Committee which meets bi-annually to review and update campus services provided -
Coordinate with a variety of campus offices and services to refer veteran students, as appropriate, to designated representatives in Academic Advising, Tutoring, Student Life, Counseling, Financial Aid, and others -
Maintain records for annual state and veterans affairs office audits -
Notify Veterans Affairs Office of veterans' enrollment status changes during the semester | | | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS | | | Bachelor's Degree required. | | | PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS | | | Two (2) years of relevant full-time experience preferred. Effective oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills, analytical, critical thinking, planning and problem solving skills are essential. | | | COMPENSATION | | | $35,576-$38,407 (Effective 10/20/2009) Commensurate with qualifications and experience | | | BENEFITS | | | CUNY offers a comprehensive benefits package to employees and eligible dependents based on job title and classification.
