Job Description
Serves as single point-of-contact for end users for specific module(s), functional and/or business area(s). Understands the business function and works with team to define business requirements. Communicates and coordinates with other Business Analysts, business leadership and IT leadership to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across Ralcorp.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform problem identification & resolution for issues related to specific module(s), functional and business area(s). Provide training to prevent problem reoccurrence and knowledge transfer. Escalate issues to management when appropriate.
- Collect, analyze, review, document and communicate business needs and requirements to IT. Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes to such specifications.
- Serve as module expert during implementations of ERP software. Perform module configuration and testing following control guidelines
- Involved in security/authorization set-up, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and reconciliation
- Assist IT management and end-users to determine feasibility of potential systems projects.
- Perform special duties/functions which might be assigned by manager

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent work experience required.
- Must possess an understanding of the business function(s)/process(s) supported. 2 - 4 years experience in business area or supporting business applications.
- 3 – 5 Years using an ERP system is required (JDE/E1 is preferred)
- Experience with Maintenance Systems required
- Knowledge of business processes for the ERP areas (Inventory, Purchase Orders, Receiving, Equipment, Job Tracking)
- Experience with Master Data setup
- Prior ERP project implementation experience desired
- Experience in the Consumer Goods Industry is a plus
- Knowledge of JDE/E1 preferred
- Knowledge of PC Applications such as Excel and Word is required
- SQL knowledge is a Plus
- Good knowledge of systems project work and business functionality in ERP applications preferred.
- Occasional travel required.
