About the Job

The Millard Group is an executive search firm that works with Enterprise Software companies to find and hire sales executives throughout North America.  We have been hired by a Supply Chain software vendor to identify and qualify top notch enterprise software sales representatives in the Raleigh-Durham-Cary area in North Carolina.  Our client is a 20 year old privately held company with multiple offices in the US, Europe and India.  Their state of the art solution can not be matched by their competitors and the small to medium sized enterprise is an untapped market.  This sales role will be focused on prospecting and selling solutions to small and medium sized supply chain companies (manufacturers, retailers, distributors, freight forwarders).  There is no relocation package for this position.  This is not a remote/work from home role. 

Job Purpose:

Builds business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients.

Duties:

* Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.

* Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.

* Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.

* Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

* Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

* Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
