Responsibilities
Ensures timely implementation of manufacturing projects and user requests within budget and meeting previously agreed user requirements. Ensures that all necessary documentation is up to date.
Assists senior management with developing value added manufacturing strategies and process improvements for the company.
Develops and validates system implementation plans and requirements.
Work with users to develop and improve manufacturing processes and implement systems to improve user’s productivity at all locations.
Manages staff of business analysts, programmers and / or consultants on multiple projects simultaneously.
Organizes hires, appraises and develops staff to maximize service to users.
Controls use of manufacturing resources and provide project status.
Interaction with all levels of Management and impacts decisions on the department and Organization.
Handles all information with sensitivity and confidentiality.
Background
The successful candidate for the IT Manager position will have a Business Degree in Management Information Systems or related field with emphasis in Manufacturing. MBA preferred.
Broad business and operational background spanning cross functional areas. Must come from a Manufacturing environment and have at least 10 years of sound knowledge and experience in implementing manufacturing value added strategies, processes and systems.
Project leader experience supporting / leading JDEdwards EnterpriseOne software or similar. Extensive knowledge of the entire Manufacturing suite within E1 with heavy emphasis on multi plant planning with high volume.
Knowledge and experience with Advanced Warehouse Management is preferred.
Project management and system development cycle experience is required.
Must have professional maturity and good communication skills.
Be a team player with the ability to relate to all users, peers and upper management.
Compensation
Base salary of $95k with a 15% bonus. Excellent benefits package and relocation assistance is available.
