Location: MI_Grand Rapids Relocation Provided: No Relocation Offered Education Required: Bachelors Degree Experience Required: Not Indicated Position Description: LeanLogistics Java Developers are responsible for the analysis, design and development of business applications for the “On Demand TMS” product suite.
The developer will apply multiple technologies and processes during all facets of the development lifecycle. LeanLogistics uses Agile and RAD development methodologies to achieve outstanding speed and quality during development. These methodologies require the developers to learn and apply skills in everything from GUI development to complex back end business logic.
Product development is critical to the success of the company. LeanLogistics is committed to hiring the best and providing them the tools and knowledge to succeed. We embrace a relaxed west coast style work environment, combined with high-end laptops, multiple monitors and a unique camaraderie across the company. Besides Java, other key technologies used include Struts, AJAX, Swing, Oracle 10g and web services to name a few. Exposure to one or more of these components is beneficial: • Java, HTML, SQL, XML • JSP/DHTML/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX/Swing/Flex (User Interface development)
A mathematics background provides additional software position opportunities. • Constraint Programming, Heuristics, Genetic Algorithms, VRP, Operations Research
