We are looking for a Field Service Specialist for Jacksonville, Florida. If you have worked in service, maintenance, and installation of DDC control systems and mechanical systems which may include: HVAC, security, network, and fire alarm systems in a commercial, process, construction and/or retrofit environment.   We would like to speak with you!

As a Field Specialist for our service team you will:

• Handle multiple projects simultaneously.


• Perform scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, DDC control Fire alarm, HVAC, Security and access control in commercial and industrial facilities.


• Complete maintenance within assigned labor load PM hours, in a manner that reduces emergency calls.


• Perform installations, complete emergency calls, and perform testing & start-up support across a wide range of electrical or mechanical equipment, systems and subsystems (including software where applicable) which are simple to moderately complex in nature.


• Perform service and maintain systems involving networks, system integration, open technologies, software based interfaces, HVAC controls, fire/security systems and other facility/infrastructure management systems.


• Assist sales and operations with delivering customer requirements


• Meet with customer and evaluate customer site specifics


• Trouble shoot HVAC control systems, communication systems, and identify LAN issues.


• Work with electrical, mechanical, network, and engineering.

Basic Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical degree in HVAC, Refrigeration, Retrofit or Security systems or Networking.

Additionally Desired:

• NICET level II certification within 18 months of hire date


• Ability to take ownership of a project with little supervision


• Security, direct digital controls and mechanical systems


• Computer literate in computer operating systems and applications such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook


• Lon Mark and BACnet a plus


• Software programming experience


• NICET II certification


• MCSE certification


• A+ certification.


• Valid and clean driving record
