Developmental Disabilities Institute, DDI, is one of the largest providers of care to children and adults with Autism, developmental disabilities and other special needs. DDI has been a part of Long Island for nearly 50 years serving over 1,500 children and adults with Autism, other developmental disabilities and special needs. DDI provides innovative and expansive services to our adult population through various residential services, day habilitation programs and vocational services.

DDI is currently looking to hire Direct Support Professionals to work with children under the age of 21 in our Children's Residential Program located in Smithtown, NY. Our Direct Support Professionals enjoy convenient work schedules that include overnights, and split shifts. We also offer various convenient part time and hourly positions as well. Candidates must have a valid NYS driver’s license and a HS Diploma or Equivalent. Some experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities is helpful.
