Our client in the Galleria is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. The duties will include but will not be limited to full cycle accounts payable. You will be responsible for matching invoices up with purchase orders, create spreadsheets to track AP information, enter AP information into accounting system and cutting checks. The position will start in the Accounts Payable area to match and batch vendor invoices/POs, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks and maintain vendors' records. The position will eventually involve Billings, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Control, Fixed Assets, General Ledger and Financial Statement preparation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain exposure to all areas of accounting. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of accounts payable experience and must have great Excel skills.
