| Photronics, Inc., a global leader in high-tech manufacturing, is seeking a talented professional to be a "subject matter expert" at our state-of the-art NanoFab in Boise, Idaho. Job Description: As an Equipment Engineer with Photronics, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: -Training and documenting sustaining tool recoveries, troubleshooting and repair of Fab tools with Production, Engineering and vendor FSEs support. - Coordinating and participating in tool improvement projects. - Responsible for documentation and training of maintenance/troubleshooting procedures. - Assisting with manufacturing management of masks. -Create and implement tool plans and schedules for equipment modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. -Source and order spare parts and upgrades with suppliers -Maintaining assigned uptime and reliability numbers for your assigned tool sets as well as manage the system to track uptime. Overtime work as necessary to support assigned tool sets and must be willing to work a flexible schedule as required. |
| Required Experience |
| -Requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant semiconductor processing equipment experience. -Class 1 or 10 clean room experience preferred, mask experience a plus. -Relevant experience needed in the following technologies: high vacuum technology, lasers and optics, robotic systems, RF systems, liquid and gas plumbing and pneumatic systems. - Specific process areas of interest are Dry etch, photolithographic coat and develop, wet process, inspection and metrology technologies. -Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical and electronic control systems and have experience in coordination of facility related issues. -Broad knowledge base of substrate processing methods, principles and technologies. -Experience in new tool evaluations, tool design, modifications and system level engineering is a plus. -Must have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. -Must be able to work independently as well as in a group environment. -Must be proficient in the use of PC hardware/software and Microsoft Office applications, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and other software applications such as SPC, Internet Explorer -Must be willing to become ERT certified. -We are looking for an individual with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills who is able to work both independently and in a group environment. |

| Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field or equivalent experience required. BSEE, BSEET, or BSME preferred. |
