Equipment Technician--Wafer Handling System Experience



Description:
Responsible for correctly maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing complex semiconductor wafer handling equipment to achieve manufacturing process yield and productivity goals.


Provide a level of equipment maintenance support that will result in improved machine availability and performance, and manage equipment resources to improve equipment management indices, such as cycle time and cost of ownership.


Anticipate and diagnose problems, perform scheduled maintenance procedures, record machine status and requirements, deal with suppliers by ordering parts and ensuring spare parts availability.

Requirements:

  • Requires an A.A.S. degree in electronics or related discipline or equivalent military electronics training.
  • Experience with Brooks or Daifuku Wafer Handling equipment
  • A fundamental knowledge of physics, chemistry, electronics and mechanics is critical to the contractors' success. Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing principles is desirable.
  • Willingness to work compressed work week
