Equity Options Quantitative Researcher/Trader

Job Description

The UBS Investment Bank is seeking qualified candidates for an Equity Options Quantitative Researcher/Trader with experience in modeling derivatives or implementing equity/option trading strategies.

This person will be heavily involved with:

Creating electronic algorithms

Working with the execution trading team

Managing risk in the Electronic Volatility Trading business

This role/incumbent will have the potential to develop their trading strategies. Prior Equity Options, strong quantitative skills, good coding experience and the ability in dealing with large dataset is required. The ability to work with a team is a key to future success.

Requirements

A minimum of 3+ years Equity Options Trading and Quantitative Analyst Trading experience

A minimum of a Masters Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or related field of study

Preferred Qualifications

A PhD level educational background is a decisive asset

Experience in modeling derivatives and implementing quantitative trading strategies in a high-frequency proprietary trading desk is A+
