Estimating Coordinator  – Denton, TX

SUMMARY :

-          Provides department support for generation of  bids and proposals, resource suppliers and subcontractors, project scheduling support, research, and process flow analysis and support.

-           Candidate will also be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES and REQUIREMENTS

-          Ideal candidate will have a degree and/or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training.

-          Candidate must have a good base understanding of the project life cycle, including bid, proposal, and estimation process and project management.  

-          The position requires the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written.

-          Candidate must also be able to negotiate in the best interest of the company, to drive revenue.

-           Excellent MS Office skills are required, and experience utilizing scheduling and bid/estimating software is preferred.
