Our headquarters in Fremont, CA is currently accepting applications for an experienced Residential Sales Rep.  The ideal candidate will have several years of experience selling residential insulation, garage doors, fireplaces and other residential products here in the Bay Area. 

RESPONSIBILITIES include:

·         Generates leads, proactively visits with new and potential customers, researches building permits and trade publications to locate construction projects for bidding purposes.

·         Estimates new and retrofit construction measures for multiple products in residential construction.

·         Prepares and submits bids and work orders.

·         Corresponds with General Contractors and specific vendors as necessary to complete projects.

·         Visits the job-site and consults with superintendents.

·         Assists in timely collection of all customer accounts, as needed.

·         Participates and attends sales meetings.

·         Performs special assignments as required.

·         Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

·         Three plus years experience in selling residential products.

·         Working knowledge of architecture and mechanical drawing.

·         Ability to read, interpret and accurately take-off constructions drawings.

·         Must be able to operate computer and standard software applications.  Also must be able to learn and utilize specialized software applications.

·         Must possess excellent skills in math, writing, public relations, communications and negotiations.

·         Regular attendance is required.
