Position Description:
Estimator - Landscape Maintenance
ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance is recognized nationwide as a leader in landscape maintenance services. From regular maintenance and water management, to seasonal color and tree care, we can handle every aspect of landscape management, drawing upon our deep experience to serve a wide range of customers, from resorts, retail centers, and corporate campuses to homeowner's associations, public spaces, and private residences.
We currently have a full time position available for an Estimator who will work closely with our Business Developers, Account Managers and branch management team to price our exterior maintenance and enhancements jobs.
Estimators are responsible for:
• Partnering with internal employees to clearly define project scope
• Generating proposals based upon accurate cost estimates that are complete and easy to understand
• Building relationships internally and externally with sub-contractor, vendors and customers as needed
• Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting the Company culture, in particular, regarding safety, quality and customer service
Position Requirements:
Requirements:
• Prefer Bachelors degree in Ag Business, Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Maintenance, Agronomy, Floriculture, Forestry, Plant and Soil Science, Environmental Design, Turf Grass or Landscape Architecture
• Strong work ethic
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with customer service
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
