Job Description: As an Event/Fundraising Coordinator, you will plan and coordinate special events and fund-raising programs like golf tournaments, social events and other community programs, including the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon. In addition, you will prospect and solicit corporate sponsors, coordinate volunteer events and interact with patient families. Local travel, some evenings and weekends are required. Candidate must have reliable transportation.

Job Requirements: The successful team player must have previous fund-raising/sales experience. The ability to organize and implement community fund-raising programs, prospect corporate sponsors and work with volunteers is essential. The candidate must possess excellent oral and written skills. Some college coursework completed.
