IDG Enterprise has an exciting opportunity for an Event Marketing/Registration Coordinator to contribute to the continued expansion of our highly-regarded Executive Programs group. The core responsibilities center on customer service and event registration and extend to other critical marketing processes to support the overall goals of the team. The successful candidate will build/maintain registration web pages; handle customer service calls/emails; process payments, manage databases; and, oversee the on site registration process and customer service desk at select events throughout the year. Additionally, the candidate will support the day to day execution of event marketing campaigns by testing and deploying emails, updating/maintaining event Websites; and, scheduling and executing all pre and post show customer communications. The candidate must be extremely well organized, have superior customer service skills, a proven knack for learning new and disparate systems. Strong MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills are essential as are good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently. HTML experience is a plus. Previous experience working with customer databases within an events environment is a major plus. Travel is required – typically 10-12 times per year spread out across the country. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Minimum two years experience.
