Exciting Opportunity in HVAC Sales in Southern NJ!

Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing provider of energy-related services and products. They are seeking an HVAC Residential Sales Representative to meet with customers to profitably sell HVAC equipment in line with business objectives and customer needs.  Performs Home Energy Assessments as needed. Job functions include, but are not limited to:

·         Produce business growth by profitably selling HVAC products and services, either through customer leads or self-generated leads.

·         Perform load calculations and other technical requirements in support of equipment recommendations and utility rebate requirements.

·         Process sales agreements and job paperwork, including permits for jobs and utility rebates.

·         Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and services offered.

·         Coordinate with customers regarding job scheduling and job payment.

·         Recommend and sell other company products and services where appropriate.

·         Perform duties inherent in all supervisory, professional and administrative positions.

·         Consistent with all positions in this classification, additional projects, tasks and/or duties beyond what is outlined here may be assigned as required.

PREREQUISITES: 

·         High school degree or equivalent is required.  A two or four year degree in marketing, accounting or a related business field is desirable.

·         BPI Certification is desirable

·         A minimum of 3 years prior experience in HVAC sales is required.

·         Knowledge of HVAC equipment, design installation, piping and venting is required.

·         Prior experience performing residential load calculations is required.

·         Valid New Jersey driver’s license is required.

·         Proficiency using personal computers and standard business software is required. 

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
