Executive Administrative Assistant- Orthofix Spine Implants

About the Job

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Provide full administrative support to the President, Spinal Implants by assuming any responsibilities that will enable executives and staff to be more efficient. Will be in daily contact with Boston, McKinney and occasionally with other offices.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of position):

·         Prepare presentations for executives utilizing Power Point, Word and/or Excel.

·         Handle highly confidential information regarding the internal operation of the company as well as strategic plans regarding products, acquisitions, and mergers.

·         Provide notary service.

·         On an as requested basis, prepare information for BOD members, or executives preparing for Board meetings including special materials, and minutes.

·         Compile monthly reports from departmental reports.

·         Schedule executive meetings and manage/perform general administrative duties.

·         Executive travel coordination.

·         Compose correspondence.

·         Organization of executive files.

·         Meeting coordination and set up.

·         Manage incoming correspondence.

·         Preparation of expense reports.

·         Regular attendance required.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

·         Excellent writing skills and verbal skills required.

·         Able to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast paced and changing work environment.

·         Ability to interact professionally with all levels of management, board members and external

        parties.

·         Strong attention to detail and good listening skills.

·         Requires broad knowledge of corporate operations and policy.

·         Highly proficient with use of English grammar and composition.

·         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision/guidance.

·         Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.

·         Minimum 5 years experience in an executive administrative role.

 

 

NONESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS (not necessary but preferred):

·         Prior experience taking meeting minutes.

·         Shorthand or Note hand.

·         Degree preferred.
