Executive Administrative/Sales Assistant
Stevens Transport, Inc, a temperature controlled truckload carrier, is looking for a qualified executive administrative assistant for our Vice Chairman. This position requires advanced levels of experience, knowledge, and skills required for executive assistance. The primary role will be to assist the Vice chairman, but will require additional assistance of other members of the executive board.
Required Skills include:
- Performs advanced clerical duties and follows existing procedures
- Must be proficient on the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Proofreading and editing documents
- Answer phones, schedule and coordinate travel arrangements, preparing mail, copying, faxing, etc.
- Prepare presentations, correspondence, reports
- Keep calendars and schedule appointments
- Ability to respond to urgent needs with a problem solving demeanor and ambiguity as well as focus
- Coordinate and review monthly reports
- Advance project management skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Experience in a support role for executive staff
Education/Experience requirements:
- 3-5 years administrative experience
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Expert in time management skills
- Ability to work with time sensitive materials and projects
- Knowledge of time zones and geographical areas of the US
Preferred Skills:
- Type 80wpm
- Advanced computer skills - Microsoft Office
- Some knowledge of AS400 preferred but not required
- Dictation skills
- Knowledge of professional letter and memorandum outlines
