Overview Amazon.com is seeking an exceptionally bright, customer service obsessed and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support the Director of IT/Software and assist the Consumer Electronics team. This very exciting role will provide support to the Director of IT/Software and assist the other leaders of Consumer Electronics with a variety of ongoing projects. The role is responsible for a wide range of activities including management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements, tracking key deliverables and managing travel and expenses. This position will work closely with the Executive Assistant for the Vice President of Consumer Electronics facilitating key team activities and projects. These include, meeting agendas, all–hands meeting planning, supply ordering, performance reviews and assisting with new hire on-boarding. Key projects include, facilitating multi-team participation in training and industry functions and the planning and execution of space reconfiguration for the combined teams across multiple floors. Additional projects would be planning the move to the South Lake Union campus and creating and maintaining SharePoint sites and a library of vendor presentations and other selling materials. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility and a sense of humor. The candidate will possess the ability to complete a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision. Key to the position is the ability to be organized, prioritized and on time while also serving as a "go to" for all members of this large team. The position requires the capacity to work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside of the group, while keeping abreast of general business objectives, policies, standards, services, facilities, procedures and related information in order to maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization.
