Athens area business seeks an Executive Assistant with experience handling Federal Contracts. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the importance of internal relations and team concept, will be decisive, observant, and innovative. This position requires analytical ability as well as tact. This is a full-time position reporting to the owners of the firm and providing assistance in all areas of the business.
Responsibilities Include:
Accounting and administrative support
Supervising or leading assigned employees in a variety of tasks and insuring that their jobs are done efficiently
Dispensing and receiving documents such as timesheets, expense reports and verifying them for accuracy
Ordering and maintaining office supplies
Auditing, balancing, and checking payroll, check register, purchase orders, credit card system and invoices
Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial reporting through general ledger
Processing billing and collections, developing and implementing controls to monitor collections
Requirements:
Must be familiar with all aspect of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Must be proficient in QuickBooks
Federal contract experience a plus
BS Degree in Business Administration or related field
