We currently seek an experienced and talented Assistant Coordinator – Ethics Organizations for our Government Contracts group. This position is a part-time role. Don't miss the opportunity to work for an exciting and dynamic law firm located in the heart of the Penn Quarter.
Overview of Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be an integral member of two ethics organizations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update organization websites; works with vendor to develop new site.
- Plan and execute client member meetings at off-site locations (ranging in size from 20-300 people) - including site selection, logistics, agenda development, registration maintenance, registration payment processing and coordination of meeting materials.
- Assist with formulation and compilation of annual survey data for 90 member companies.
- Assist with monthly newsletter.
- Plan and attend periodic in-person and telephonic client member meetings.
- Prepare and distribute meeting notes to clients.
- Respond to various client member inquiries.
- Work with Accounting to oversee payments and collection of membership dues.
- Prepare and submit semi-annual invoices to members.
- Assist with preparation of Annual Reports for each client organization.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a productive and committed work effort, meeting deadlines and managing workload.
- Strong attention to detail, including superior spelling and grammar.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, and effectively with others in a cooperative manner to accomplish position functions and participate in team efforts.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with attorneys and clients.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Suite to produce quality written communications such as memos, spreadsheets, slides, standard work documents. Ability to life and carry items weighing less than 50 pounds.
- Minimal travel is required.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in English or related field. Equivalent training and experience will substitute for education.
- The position requires a minimum of two years of directly related experience during which knowledge, skills and abilities relevent to the position were demonstrated.
- Website design and maintenance experience a plus.
