For a preeminent international Jewish non-profit that represents the social, cultural and political issues of the Jewish people, as well as supports the State of Israel.
In this newly-created role, you will be right-hand to the regional Executive Director. Among your extremely diversified responsibilities, you will: coordinate meetings as well as ultra-high-profile events; liaise with people at the highest of levels; assist with various administrative matters, including organizing the Executive Director’s hectic schedule; write press releases; be involved with various research projects. Ultimately, many of your duties will be determined by your unique abilities and motivation, and as such, the above is a strictly a working title.
You should have a minimum of a 4-year-degree, be intimately familiar with the Jewish culture as well as internationally-related issues, be extremely well-organized, have excellent communication skills – both oral and written, and strong computer skills. You should have ideally worked in the Jewish non-profit world, although an exceptional recent graduate will be considered. This position is substantially more than a typical administrative assistant, as there is much opportunity for innovation.
