A National Security Consulting Firm headquartered in Downtown Manhattan is seeking an Executive Assistant to the CEO/Administrative Office Assistant for their office. They are seeking a person with a minimum of 3-5 years administrative and clerical work experience in fast paced environment.
This position requires the skills and abilities to:
· Provide administrative and clerical support as required
· Answer and manage multiple phone lines with excellent phone etiquette and message taking
abilities
· Coordinate complex calendar and travel schedule for CEO and other staff
· Arrange and book travel for the CEO
· Must possess excellent grammatical skills and attention to detail
· Must be able to proof read documents and make necessary corrections
· Must have proven proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
and Access)
· Interact professionally with staff and clientele
· Must be able to multi task, perform highly detailed work, and work under intensive deadlines with
frequent interruptions
· Must have a professional appearance and wear professional attire
· Maintain attendance records and company calendar
· Ability to design, develop and maintain spreadsheets requiring data interpretation and
manipulation
· Create, maintain, and update electronic and paper files
· Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision and also in a team environment
· Candidates who have worked in highly professional environments for prestigious firms are a plus
Incumbents in this position will perform a variety of difficult, specialized administrative support functions, including providing sensitive and confidential administrative support services to the staff, with a significant degree of independence and accountability for results.
Starting salary for this position is offered at $40-50k per year, with benefits offered after probationary period is completed.
