QuEST has a need for project engineers to support our client’s projects and manufacturing engineering organization.

The responsibilities of the job may encompass a full range of product/project engineering activities including design, development, testing and product support of mechanical products. The actual assignments will vary.

 

Candidates will be given on-the-job training to assist with a variety of tasks, including:

· Providing validation and test support

· Generating and modifying engine test plans

· Data collection and report generation

· Processing Engineering Changes

· Supporting configuration control tasks

· Bill of Material (BOM) maintenance

· Test and production hardware tracking and expediting

· Providing project support for manufacturing

· Quality Notification investigation and closure

· Assisting with Root Cause Investigations

· Data collection and report generation

 

Typical educational requirements include:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Industrial, Manufacturing or related field 6 months to 2+ years of experience.

Students approaching achievement of a degree with applicable work/internship experience and available for full time work will also be considered.


Teamwork skills are a must. The candidate must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The candidate must have working knowledge of Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), proficiency with Microsoft Project, SAP, and TeamCenter is a plus, but not required.
Candidates should be self-starters and have the ability to work with minimal direction. The candidate should have the ability to work in a manufacturing environment, as the position will involve some time spent on the shop floor.
